Black Talent Awards Conference 2023
Thank you to all who attended our first conference. The panel discussion was on fire with thought-provoking dialogue, and the break out cafe presentations were a great success thanks to our amazing facilitators from Serco, Merlin Entertainments, EY and Cultural Intelligence Centre UK. It was a real coming together of individuals and organisations that was to do the right thing when it comes to creating an ‘even field'.
We were overwhelmed with the turnout and the enthusiasm of our attendees! It was truly inspiring to witness the power of collaboration, and we hope that this event has created a movement, not just a moment as Denise likes to say. People shared openly - their truths, the highs and the lows of what it takes to not only survive but thrive and get to the top of organisations.
A big thank you to our wonderful panellists: David McQueen, Wayne Brown, Bernadette Thompson, Chris Craig Bonier, Dom Sid and Justinien Kubwayo. Their collective wisdom served as a reminder to us all that we have the power to truly impact the organizations and communities we are part of - if we have the courage and willingness to collaborate.
